Tokyo stocks gained 1.30% Monday as strong US jobs data boosted investor sentiment, with traders also looking to Japanese corporate earnings. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index rose 183.04 points to 14,269.84, while the Topix index of all first-section shares edged up 0.78%, or 9.23 points, to 1,185.65.
